The Faculty of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics is significantly contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research. The research activities of the department focus mainly in the Area of Respiratory pharmacology, Pharmacovigilance , Cardiovascular pharmacology, Antimicrobial stewardship, Pharmacoeconomics, and Prescription Audit.
The department is also approved as Adverse Drug Monitoring centre (AMC) and Medical device Adverse Event Monitoring Centre (MDMC) approved under aegis of National Coordination Centre, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission , under auspices of CDSCO & MOHFW.
